Pure Kitchen was founded in 2017 with 1 simple mission:
Vegan food made simple for everyone.
Kyoko Faison, is a Tampa Based Chef originally hailing from Yokohama, Japan. She moved to the United States in 1998 and moved to Tampa shortly afterwards. Graduating college with a degree in fine arts with a specialty in printmaking, the culinary arts started as a passion that evolved into a career and an obsession. Her vegan career started in 2012, when she decided to leave her career as a printmaker and start as a prepcook for one of Tampa’s 1st vegan restaraunts, Grassroots. She would learn the ins and outs of the industry, lifestyle and cuisine and begin her own venture as a private chef and meal prep service. After 2 years of working out of her own home and the kitchen of friends she would open her own store front that would come to be known as Pure Kitchen.
